FEASTERVILLE, PA — The 'Famed Cash-Squatch of Feasterville' surrendered himself to authorities after being wanted for the alleged robbery of a Feasterville Sunoco gas station. Jonathan Nelson, 30, surrounded himself to the Lower Southampton Township Police Department with his attorney on Friday, Jan. 21. He had been wanted for the e robbery he allegedly committed in December. According to police and the alleged victim, Nelson walked into the gas station, with his head and legs wrapped in white, scented trash bags, on the morning of Friday, Dec. 17. He forced the employee of the store into the bathroom before stealing Newport cigarettes and cash from the store. After this, he was last seen running east on Street Road toward Philmont Avenue. A warrant for his arrest was made the same day. Nelson was charged with unlawful restraint/ involuntary servitude, false imprisonment, robbery-taking of property by force, theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property, according to court documents. His bail was set at $5,000 unsecured, which was posted. His case is awaiting a preliminary hearing, and the next actions in his case are set for Feb. 9.
