Former touring bassist/drummer looking for post punk project

39 year old former touring musician and audio engineer looking for mature like minded individuals for a semi serious, possibly serious, music project. I play drums, bass and guitar at a professional level, but I have been inactive for the last couple years. I spent my late teens through mid 30's in the pop punk / post rock scene, touring nationally with multiple original bands and was an FOH and MON engineer in Chicago for just over a decade mixing at many prominent venues and festivals in Chicago, but got my start at good ole Macs bar in Lansing. I also spent many years as a guitar and drum tech. Into bands like Interpol, Citizen, Elliot, My bloody Valentine, The Cure, Glassjaw, Turnover, Bayside, FenixTX, Sparta, Circa Survive, Queens of the Stone age, The Killers, Small Brown Bike, Cursive, Dredge,..... list goes on. Citizen is probably my favorite band currently, and I would love to do something in that direction... but I'm deeply influenced by all the bands listed above and am open minded. I did burn out pretty hard on music since my last tour in 2016, but I feel like I cant push it out of my life anymore. Can't say I'd ever try to make a career out of it again, unless it was with the right group. Drop me a line and I can send links to past projects and recordings.
