BUCKINGHAM, PA — An all-inclusive wellness and support center in Buckingham for cancer patients is asking for companies to be a "lifeline" to its success. The 2022 Kin Lifeline Partnership gives local businesses an opportunity to support Kin's operating costs, so that it can provide free support, therapy, fitness, and integrative services to its community members. The center's operations are 100 percent donation-based; companies sponsoring a line-item for one year ensure its continued future. "Taking care of people is our first priority. When a large portion of our budget is subsidized by the community, the burden our non-profit faces to fundraise is greatly reduced," Keith Fenimore, Kin's executive director, shared. "With the success of the Lifeline Partnership program we can focus our energy and efforts on our guests and services while providing a very tangible way for people within the community to get involved and give in an impactful way." Multiple line items totaling more than $75,000 are still in need of businesses to support them. They include: all or a portion of Kin's monthly rent, supplies for integrative services, marketing materials, cleaning service, utilities, insurance, and more. "Along with the gratification of keeping Kin solvent, benefactors will benefit from acknowledgement and placement on Kin's website and social media, a presence at Kin's events and inclusion in dedicated marketing materials," the company wrote in a news release.
