HOOVER, AL — Hoover police are trying to identify a man they say broke into a car, stole credit cards and used the cards to make fraudulent purchases. The car break-in occurred Dec. 29 on Inverness Center Parkway. Police say the victim's credit cards were fraudulently used at several businesses in the Highway 280 area.
