Job Description:
Oversee, manage, and transport construction job materials in a safe and timely manner; ensure
accurate inventory & delivery deadlines are being met, while providing exceptional customer
service.
Responsibilities:
• Partner & clearly communicate to all applicable parties involved concerning inventory/delivery matters.
• Identify discrepancies & verify counts inbound/outbound, communicating to mgr. asap.
• Filing & managing vendor paperwork; scanning over to purchasing coordinator as needed.
• Organize, cycle count, and keep inventory accurate. (On or Offsite)
• Deliver & pickup materials to correct job site(s) & product suppliers; obtain signature (POD) as needed.
• Perform basic daily preventive maintenance inspections (PMs) on assigned vehicle.
• Adhere to all driving rules and regulations according to local, state, and federal laws.
Minimum Requirements:
• Valid driver license and safe driving history
• Strong interpersonal skills; Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Capable to effectively work in demanding conditions & under pressure to meet deadlines.
o (This includes work environments exceeding 100°F & below 32°F)
o (Lifting up to 100lbs consistently; continuous physical exertion)
• Ability to read & comprehend all aspects of inventory control and driving documents.
• 2 or more years - Inventory/warehousing & box truck (or similar) driving experience
• Highschool Diploma or equivalent preferre
