Hi beauties, I recently adopted a spayed female German Shepard from a dog shelter in Tempe, AZ. I've had her for 2.5 months, although I don't have the time or energy to train her as I have 2 jobs & going to school. I adopted her out of fear based impulses when I went to my sister's funeral in AZ because my sister got killed, not realizing my incapability of caring for someone else outside of myself & my cat. She is very sweet & smart - she has trauma from previous owners, & is still needing socializing. I live alone an hour out in the country where it's inconvenient for me to take her to dog parks for socializing. She comes when called, though she is an escape artist & needs a secured backyard or to live on many acres of farm land for her to run free in. She chases cats - so would be best in a home without any. She loves to escape the yard to play & socialize with my neighbors little dogs, so she would do really well with a buddy. She doesn't bark much, & she is potty trained. She is free - though I am looking thoroughly for a good owner.
