Description

This little cat showed up at our house in the fall. For several months we only caught a glimpse of her as she bolted off, but she got friendlier when the weather turned very cold just after Christmas. She was quite skinny at that point, but we’ve fed her up a bit now. She seems healthy; haven’t seen any fleas. I don’t think she has had shots or been fixed. We discovered that she had found a gap to crawl up into our attic. Must be where those packrats were coming in last winter! No packrats this year though! We would keep her, she is a very nice cat, but I don’t think our old dog is up for the adjustment. She’s very agile and has learned to avoid him so far, but the friendlier she gets the more I am concerned the dog might get her one day. She loves food and lots of pets and would like to be outdoors much of the time but have a warm place to sleep. However you might want to keep her in the house for the first week so she understands that’s her territory, otherwise she is likely to bolt as she is still part wild and easily startled. That first week might be challenging as she is not used to living in a house. She likes to talk a lot which is usually cute, but if you don’t like to wake up at 6:30am it might not be a good fit. We love her and want her to go to just the right loving home! She’s an adorable friendly cat. Give us a call.
