Description

About us: - We're in the beginning stages of forming a band. Right now there are about three of (between us we play guitar, bass, drums and more, write, arrange, record, and produce (Ableton users)) who would love to fill out our band with more people. Goals: - Our goal is to be a professional band with a great fan base that allows us to travel around the world doing what we love and making people happy. We want to make art for a living. - We want to make records that affect the world. - We want to build inventive live show experiences that are interactive, boisterous, and one-of-a-kind. - We want to make great music that is impactful to people, while remaining true to ourselves. Philosophy: - We are not afraid of reaching a larger audience. We believe it is equally important to make music that affects yourself as it is to make music that affects the tribe. These are not exclusive concepts to us. Who were looking for: - We are looking for people of all backgrounds that are aligned with our ambitions listed above. - The primary instruments we're looking for are: guitar, drums, and bass. - Secondary instruments are definitely welcome. - People who are open to all types of music -- and can serve the song above all else. - Multi-instrumentalists are a huge plus! We would love to be able to switch things up and bounce around between instruments during live shows. - "It's not the notes you play, it's the notes you don't play. " - Miles Davis What sound we are going for: - Our primary, starting off point genre is indie rock. - Our sound is catchy, energetic, inspiring, feel good, and often upbeat. - We like to bridge sampling, sequencing, synthesizing, and other computer music techniques to live rock. - Secondary genre characterizations/influences: alternative rock, indie pop, power pop, pop rock, dance rock, rap rock, art rock, sample-based hip hop, dance punk, post-punk revival, DIY pop/bedroom pop. If this sounds like you, shoot over an email with some information about yourself, and if it seems like it may be a good fit we can hop on a call and take it from there! Happy New Year!
