TDS is currently offering a Hiring Bonus of up to $8,000* for the following position: Field Service Technician III $4,000 for all mechanics* $8,000 for mechanics with verifiable waste experience* (*exclusions apply - please contact HR for details) The Field Service Technician performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. This position will maintain, diagnose and repair company assets, maintain repair order documentation and assist other maintenance personnel when required. Five to ten years’ industrial and heavy equipment maintenance experience, or a technical degree and 3-5 yrs. experience, or military service in a related field; Must possess own tools; Must have excellent communication skills; and Formal diesel/heavy equipment training. ASE Certifications in Diesel Automotive; High school diploma or equivalent; Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL); John Deer training certificates; Caterpillar training certificates; Case training certifications; and Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) certified Valid Class C Texas driver’s license Record of safe driving for the last three years as shown on current MVR, with no serious accidents or traffic violations. *Texas Disposal Systems is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
