Charity Music presents Circle of Stuff Rummage Sale and Musical Celebration We're Looking for Musical Acts! It's time for another Charity Music community appreciation celebration and we'd like you to be a part of it! For over 20 years, Charity Music's primary focus has been fostering the growth and promotion of musical talent and music appreciation in our community. We do this through outreach programs, community appreciation events and by providing low and no cost musical instruments to underprivileged kids and small charter schools, helping to ensure that instruments and musical talent can find each other, regardless of budget constraints. On March 19th we're going to throw a Spring shindig, as we prepare to move from our headquarters in Pontiac. From 10 - 4, we're planning on having 5 musical acts, a huge musician's rummage sale/trade circle, snacks & activities for the kids, and hopefully some street performers, too. As usual, there will be a green room, a gear storage area and all performers will be fed and pampered like the stars that you are. In addition, we were fortunate enough to have a large donation of brand new mic stands, so each group performing will receive a box of 6 new-in-box mic stands. (Black or chrome.) A Gretsch drum kit will be available, as well as PA and some mic'ing. Unedited footage of each group's performance will be provided with 3 camera angles and a digital audio track. We're fortunate enough to have use of an old college gym with a basketball court and a full stage, so the acoustics should be amazing! Plus..feel free to bring a table and any old stuff you'd like to sell or trade! Bring the family. Invite your friends to bring their stuff too! There's plenty of space for everyone to spread out and not feel too crowded together..and the music's going to be amazing! If you'd like to take to the stage and help us entertain, celebrate Spring, and raise a little awareness in the community (as well as check out our collection of music gear so we don't have to move as much. 🙂 ) Just reply by email with Subject line: "Performing at Circle of Stuff" Include: a link to your band's music and a link to a performance video and your contact information Our events are meant to inspire people of all ages, so please keep the material family friendly. We can't wait to hear what you've been up to! Thanks for all that you do for music! Ted, Daf & Lisa Charity Music
