We are looking for a full-time Shipping Manager to join our team. Ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self-starter, who is passionate about shipping and receiving and has boundless amounts of energy and enthusiasm. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills are required. Responsible for the receipt and initial inspection of all incoming packages, and the shipment of outgoing freight using Postal Service, UPS, FedEx and other trucking companies. *Requirements* - Two years experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment - Good reading, writing, and communication ability - Excellent organizational and customer service skills - Clean driving record and a valid driver's license - Reliable transportation and a good attendance record - High school diploma or equivalent - Familiar with Postal Service, UPS and Fed Ex computer systems - PC proficiency to include Word and Excel - *Key Responsibilities include:* - Prepare shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers - Determine method of shipment, when not specified, by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, and time of shipment - Ship items by verifying identifying information and quantity and condition of items; loading and protecting items - Document items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information Receiving - Receive items by unloading vehicles; accepting deliveries; unpacking containers - Verify items received by inspecting condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepancies - Document items received by recording identifying information - Transfer orders received by routing or delivering items to requesting department We background check and Drug test please email us with tile picker packer in your email subject and time available to come in to our office for interview please bring copy of your ID pay rate based on experience Thank you in advance
