Description
We are OnARock Homes LLC in Twin Falls, ID. We are seeking a motivated and skilled CARPENTER/FRAMER with experience, great work ethic and enthusiasm to join our team. We build Custom Homes and frame in house. We need a qualified construction professional in the residential construction industry to help build custom homes efficiently and effectively to serve our customers. We need someone that wants a career in the construction industry! Physical Requirements and Environment: Must be able to lift up to and at times above 50 pounds and work with varying weights of wood, sheet material, building materials, tools, etc. Must be able to twist, bend, reach and squat. Need manual dexterity and visual acuity. Working in a job-site environment and will be exposed to noise and dust. Must follow company safety rules and wear safety attire and work clothes at all times. To qualify for this position you MUST: -Have 5+ years verifiable construction/carpentry experience and/or other Construction related experience (Experience will be verified) -Be able to pass a criminal background check (No violent or major Felonies, will consider on a case by case basis) -Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and random UA's -High School Diploma or equivalent preferred -Have own reliable transportation to and from work -Able to show up to work on time and be able to work a full 8-10 hour shift (usually 8 hour shifts) -Willing and able to work overtime if and when required -Have the ability to work well with others in a small team environment -Have the ability to work under time constraints effectively -Be detail oriented and able to produce exceptional work -Professional appearance and demeanor -Have an outstanding work ethic and a great attitude -Must be able to at all times practice safety -Must attend company safety meetings -Must follow company safety rules and wear safety attire and work clothes at all times Job Duties include but not limited to: -Aid in the construction and completion of: -Custom Homes -Framing -Siding -Installation of cabinets and millwork -General Carpentry -Other tasks as assigned Why come work with us? -Excellent pay! -Great company family culture -Professional and quality focused team, we do things right -Company provided shirts, sweaters and hats -Fun and safe work environments -Understanding of family situations that may arise -Respectful of each other, but still have a lot of fun -Feel good about the work you do each day -Be valued as a part of our team and company family -Company sponsored events & BBQ's -Paid Holidays -Opportunity for growth and advancement -Pay increases based on performance and periodic reviews -Bonuses for meeting deadlines, doing exceptional work, gaining customer praise, etc. If selected for this position, you will be required to have or obtain your own hand tools such as and including but not limited to, tool bag and/or bucket bag, circular saw, miter saw, hammer, pliers, pry-bar, adjustable wrench, drywall knife, tape measure, utility knife, 18volt cordless drill and impact driver, etc. We will work with you on acquiring these tools if you don’t have them.
