Metal/Hard rock drummer looking to jam

Description

Hey guys, I'm a drummer. I have a band and studio space, but it's a pop punk band. It's fine, I enjoy jamming with them, but I really want to be playing metal or rock that I enjoy, and right now I don't have a band for that. So I'm 33, living in Delco, have a studio space in South Delco that I split with my band. We can jam there, or if you have a better spot with some drums, I can go to you, but I don't want to haul my drums around at all. If we use my space, you'll have to bring an amp and any other hardware you'll need. Ideally, you should be around my age. Willing to go lower or higher depending on the person, but the sweet spot is probably like 26-36. If you're a 22 or 40 year old who likes good music, though, all good. I'm not the best drummer you'll ever hear, but I do some things well. If you know music theory, you will be better than me. I'm all self taught. I have a good ear for music (I play bass and a little guitar/vocals as well), but yea, my style is just me borrowing things I like from drummers I like. This doesn't have to turn into a serious thing. It can be for fun. I'm happy to do some originals, but I 100% want to play covers, too. Far too many musicians "don't play covers" and to me, that is code for "I'm too lazy to take the time to learn someone else's songs." I have no time for that. Covers are fun. It feels great to cover a band you love and do it well. If you are too good to cover songs, this isn't going to work. If you are going to half ass the covers just to get a drummer for your originals, I don't need that, either. If you can't play a band's entire discography, no problem. If you can play some Pantera, but not their hardest shit, that's fine. I may not be able to play their hardest shit, either. But just be willing to bring to the table what you can. If you're a rock guitarist and simply can't play metal, again, not going to work. And I'm not looking to do some sort of drums and bass experimental thing. If you're a bassist, cool, happy to jam with a bassist, but we will need a guitarist. Guitarists, I've got my eye on y'all first. Stylistically, I am very into 90s music. I'm not too into thrash (with some exceptions). Very into mid-tempo metal. Sludge, death, and groove metal are my favorite subgenres. I will list bands that I'm into. If you're into them and can play their music, hit me up. Pantera (love covering Pantera), Megadeth (love covering Megadeth), Slayer, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Death, Atheist, Down, Machine Head, Obituary, Acid Bath (check them out), Abuse (check them out), Choke (check them out), STP, System of a Down, Exhorder (check them out), Life of Agony, Only Living Witness (check them out), Faith No More, Sepultura, Opeth, Coroner, Deftones (I REALLY REALLY want to cover some Deftones), Crowbar, and honestly even some lame 2000s hard rock. I really like Seether and Chevelle, for example. Open to more, but those are the guys I really dig. Here's me drumming with my old band: www.soundcloud.com/requiem-13 https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP5vA8xyBYC5gOhb-r3QUHQ ^Both are the same bands, but I can't seem to figure out if links work on Craigslist or not. If not, sorry. Copy/paste them into your browser.
