Ft. Lauderdale-based firm has an immediate opening for a Public Insurance Adjuster in the Miami, Broward, and Palm Beach, Florida areas. The position requires being comfortable handling a large volume of workload and working in a fast-paced environment. Our dedicated office staff is always there to support our adjusters with the claim from beginning to end. Requirements · Must have a 3-20 or 6-20 license · Self-driven “go-getters” who can thrive in a young and fast pashed work environment. · Able to work as a member of a team or independently · Ability to learn, or have knowledge of property insurance policies and their interpretation · Excellent follow up skills · Positive attitude and excellent organizational skills · Knowledge of residential and commercial construction is a plus · Customer service skills · Strong communication skills · 2+ years previous experience as an insurance adjuster or examiner in property claims · Property policy knowledge, · Experience with scoping, sketching, ClaimWizard and Xactimate is a plus · Responsibilities As a Public Adjuster your responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Meet and maintain sales targets and quotas on a monthly basis with clients via phone and/or one-on-one meetings. · Conduct a FREE inspection of the property to determine circumstances and coverage options of the possible claim. · Explain to the Client the claim process and keep close contact with them throughout the whole claim. · Collect all required claim documents to submit the claim. · Attend all inspections necessary. · Keep open communication with the Insurance carrier during the claim. · Negotiate a fair settlement with the Insurance Adjuster on behalf of the Client. · Maintain a continuous connection with the Client, informing them about the development of their claim, including the status of negotiations and settlement offers. Job Types: Full time – Commission with a draw offered – Salary positions available · Bonus Pay · Supplemental Pay - car, gas, tolls, parking, etc. · Commission Pay Physical Setting: · Office setting (downtown Ft. Lauderdale office) and client meeting off-site Schedule: · 8:30-5:30 with periodic on-call requirements Education: · High school or equivalent (Preferred)
