Show the Weyanoke Wildlife Sanctuary some love on Saturday, February 12 at 10am! Volunteers needed for various trail maintenance projects. Show your love for the Weyanoke Wildlife Sanctuary by volunteering on Saturday Feb. 12 from 10-2 (Stay as little or as long as you like). Tasks include: trail maintenance, debris removal, and invasive plant removal to make way for native plantings. Tools, gloves, and some water will be provided. Please bring your own water bottle if possible and dress appropriately for the weather. If we need to cancel or reschedule we will post on our Facebook page and email pre-registered volunteers. Parking is available at the end of Armistead Bridge Rd. or along neighborhood streets. Thank you and we look forward to a fun and productive work day outdoors!
