A DAY FOR CAREGIVERS: "Transforming Suffering to Hope"
This FREE seminar explores compassionate grief interventions and self-care techniques that benefit helping professionals and the clients we serve. In the age of the pandemic, where so many are experiencing multiple personal and professional losses, it is especially important that those of us who wish to serve take care of ourselves. You will leave with valuable insights and tools that will help you and your clients alleviate suffering, reignite hope, and reconnect to meaning.
This seminar draws on Heather Stang’s experience supporting professional caregivers in hospice, hospital, and mental health organizations, as well as her own challenges managing personal and professional loss as both a suicide hotline call specialist and grief counselor.
After attending this seminar, you will feel more confident in your ability to support people who are bereaved even while facing your own losses. You will feel inspired to support your clients, and empowered to put your own wellbeing first. The work you do is important and necessary, and this workshop will help you reconnect with your personal mission to serve.
