Come for a chance to learn from Latina Powerhouses and connect with other empowered Jefas. This intimate conversation space is open to all and centers Latina leaders and bosses as they share their stories of building successful brands, businesses and become bosses of their own creative entrepreneurial lives. Our special out of town guest is Patty Delgado, CEO of Hija de Tu Madre who will be doing a special Pop Up stop at Frida Friday ATX. Help us give her a warm welcome! Monica is a painter, co-founder of atxGALS, and founder of The Cathedral, a co-working and event space in East Austin. Meet Stephanie Bergara of Bidi Bidi Banda. Stephanie Bergara is musician from Austin, Texas. She is the lead singer of Selena tribute band Bidi Bidi Banda and the host of the Necia by Nature podcast. Meet Patty Delgado, Founder of Hija de Tu Madre. Patty Delgado is the 29 year old founder, CEO and designer of Hija de tu Madre, a Latina lifestyle brand. Hija de tu Madre designs apparel, accessories, and stationary for women that take their culture everywhere. Meet Diana Melendez who will MC this event. Diana is the Founder of Womxn of Color Collective and ATX based attorney. Diana serves and assists immigrant and BIPOC entrepreneurs and business owners by helping them set up a solid legal foundation that will help protect their business and their family through business and estate planning. Meet event producer: tk tunchez, Founder & Creative Director of Las Ofrendas, Frida Friday ATX and Fuego ATX. Frida Friday ATX is more than just a marketplace, we're a movement to center and support local/ BIPOC/ Latinx / Queer and emerging artists. We create monthly intentionally intersectional marketplaces & cultural spaces that support and promote our communities to sell their handmade and carefully curated wares, while celebrating diversity.
