Leland Lawn, a leader of quality lawn care and landscaping on the Palouse, is looking to expand its team! Leland Lawn is hiring Snow Services Technicians for the 2021-2022 Winter Season! We are looking for quality minded, hard working individuals to join our team. Primary duties will include snow removal and salt/sand application of commercial and residential properties using various hand tools & equipment including shovels, snow blowers and liquid deicer tanks. Any type of ATV/Truck plowing experience is helpful yet not necessary. May be called in to perform other shop/field tasks as needed. Able to work with other crew members and follow directions as to how Snow Removal Services are performed. Being a good communicator and having a positive attitude is a major factor for this position. Be in good physical shape, able to walk 5+ miles per day and work outside in rapidly changing winter conditions for long hours/multiple shifts. Have/able to obtain proper gear to work in severe winter weather. A winter clothing stipend may be made available. Able to be timely and have reliable means of transportation to work in winter weather. Due to the nature of the season, shift hours will vary day to day, so 24/7 availability & ability to be contacted is a Requirement. Employment will last until March-April, with the possibility of employment in one of our departments for the 2022 Summer season, depending on performance/experience. Pay is $18.00/hr+ depending on experience. This pay is only valid for the 2021-2022 winter season, afterwards the wage will be adjusted depending on the summer position offered.
