Henrique Eisenmann is the Creative Improvisation faculty at The Juilliard School; a Brazilian pianist and composer who dedicates his life to experimentation, creativity and research of folk and experimental music. It brings together Tropicalism, Avant-Garde and tradition, uniting Carmen Miranda and Hermeto Pascoal, the sacred and the profane, urban and folk, wildness and technique and creating a theatrical, powerful and virtuosic narrative. In Pindorama, Nestrovski and Eisenmann bewilder audiences, seamlessly threading genres, poetry, rhythms and folklore. The 1900 Building is the finest office/mixed use building in the Kansas City area. The location (Shawnee Mission Parkway & State Line Rd.) and views are superb. The iconic 1960's gem has recently been restored and expanded to include state of the art performance, conference and event spaces, a cafe/restaurant, roof terrace and LEED Gold certification.
