Description
The UD ICMA Student Chapter invites to you participate in a FREE Speed Coaching and Networking Event! ICMA bills Speed Coaching as fast-paced, fun, and informative professional development event. It provides a way for "Players" (UD students) to learn more about local government career pathways, develop professional connections, and obtain career tips and advice from volunteer "Coaches" (local government professionals). The UD ICMA Student Chapter is inviting both Players and Coaches to participate in the FREE Speed Coaching and Networking Event. The event will be held: Friday, February 25, 2022 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.University of Delaware Biden Institute - Wright House 44 Kent Way, Newark, DE Students appreciate the “real world” feedback on strategies and steps to consider taking in deciding whether to pursue a career in local government, and what type of career pathway they may wish to consider. Local government professionals enjoy sharing their insights and experiences with the next generation of local government leaders. The Speed Coaching session will use a "bull-pen" approach. This allows small groups of Players to rotate together every 10 minutes to meet and converse with small groups of Coaches. Following the Speed Coaching session, refreshments will be served during an informal networking and social time. More information on Speed Coaching and guidelines can be viewed here >> About the UD ICMA Student ChapterThe UD ICMA Student Chapter was formed in 2018 to attract and cultivate an inclusive and talented group of individuals as the next generation of local government leaders.
