MASSAPEQUA, NY — The Nassau County Police Department reported the following incidents in the Massapequa area for the week ending Jan. 20. All charges are merely accusations. A catalytic converter was stolen from a car parked on Hampton Court in North Massapequa on Jan. 13.Sunglasses were stolen from a car parked on Balchen Street in Massapequa Park on Jan. 15.A gym bag with car keys and jackets was stolen from an unlocked locker at Xsport Fitness at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa on Jan. 13.Work pants and car keys were stolen from an unlocked locker at Xsport Fitness at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa on Jan. 13.Deveka Brown, 24, of Copaigue, was arrested on Jan. 18 and charged with shoplifting from Macy's in the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa.
