Here are the top 3 stories today in Buffalo: Buffalo Police Department reports a man has been injured during a shooting on Saturday. A 27-year-old man was shot on Minnesota Avenue around 1:30 PM and was taken to Erie County Medical Center. The man is currently stable; Buffalo police are asking our community to contact them with any information about the shooting. (WKBW-TV)A lawsuit has been filed against the City of Buffalo and two police officers in the shooting of a mentally ill homeless man. In 2020, Willie Henley was shot by two police officers near Genesee and Ash streets. The lawsuit claims the officers were negligent, using excessive force and violating Henley's civil rights. The shooting sparked new protests in Buffalo against police brutality and racism. (Buffalo News)A Larkinville neighborhood home in Buffalo caught fire on Saturday. The home was vacant and under construction. Damage to the home is estimated to be $120,000 and four firefighters suffered minor injuries in pursuit of extinguishing the flames.
