Press release from the University of Houston-Downtown: January 20, 2022 A new year brings forth a plethora of opportunities for new successes for the campus community. UHD President Loren J. Blanchard is opening the new year with the Spring 2022 Virtual Campus Opening Meeting, from 2 to 4 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 24 for faculty and staff. This virtual meeting, which will be held at the beginning of each semester, is dedicated to highlighting a review of the previous semester, updating important areas throughout the University and looking forward to events on the horizon for our campus. The agenda will include updates on COVID-19, Administration & Finance, ESO, and the Strategic Plan, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC) process.
