Press release from the City of Hoboken: January 22, 2022 The Hoboken Public School District is having a special election on Tuesday, Jan. 25, in which there will be a referendum on a proposed new high school. To learn more about the proposal, go to http://www.hoboken.k12.nj.us/.   There are two ways to cast your ballot in the upcoming election: Vote by Mail or at your local polling place on Tuesday, Jan. 25.‍ Vote by Mail‍ There is still time to apply for a VBM ballot. The Hudson County Clerk is accepting applications submitted in person at the Hudson County Clerks Office until 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24  ‍ The Hudson County Clerk's Office is located at 257 Cornelison Ave., 4th Floor, Jersey City, NJ. Download the mail-in ballot application at: Voters who have previously requested a Vote By Mail (VBM) ballot should have received their ballot from the Hudson County Clerk. To submit your completed VBM, there are two primary options – placing the ballot in the mail, or one of two secure election drop boxes: Election Day in-person voting‍ Residents can also cast their ballot at their registered polling locations between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25.
