When they arrived at the scene in East Anchorage, they found a girl that was shot in her upper body. Her name has not been disclosed. She was taken to the hospital and was found to have life-threatening injuries. Authorities are asking anyone with information to please contact them. (Anchorage Daily News)An Anchorage water utility official recently recounted Mayor Bronson's decision to temporarily shut off fluoride in the city's water. Mark Corsentino, an Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility manager, was able to give more details about what happened at the Eklutna Water Treatment Plant in October. This is when Mayor Dave Bronson decided to shut off the fluoridation of the city's water supply.
