Intel Building Huge Computer Chip Factory in Ohio But Don't Cheer

News

Los Angeles CA

Description

Chipmaker Intel says it will invest $20 billion to build a factory in central Ohio in an attempt to help alleviate a global shortage of chips that power everything from phones to cars to home appliances. The Ohio production site is in the cheapest and lowest income area of the country and the minimum wage in Ohio is $9.30 an hour. It was leaked out that when the economy recovers in the next couple years they will move it all down to Mexico like all tech companies have done or are doing since transporting across the Atlantic has become difficult. Our politicians say that's fine as long as they get their bribes, kickback and campaign money. And yes our government will help fund it with your tax money. Just like they did with thousands of tech companies that moved to China and gave China the technology we helped pay for. Our government says don't like it eat shit.
