WANTED: First-generation African American college graduates (who attended a PWI) Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative generic study is to gather information regarding recent college graduates that will examine the factors that lead to collegiate success for first-generation African American students. Participation in one Zoom interview (60-90 mins). Participation incentive will be offered ($15 Amazon Gift Card). Eligibility Criteria: • Men and women between the ages of 22-29 • Graduated college with a bachelor’s degree • Participants and their parents identify as African American Exclusions: • Mixed race • Currently in treatment for addictions or significant mental health issues Contact the researcher: Tara McCoy ~This study is part of the researcher’s doctoral education program. ~
