Responsibilities: Ensure work orders and compliance standards are met at our Single family homes throughout the Detroit metro area Complete repairs and turn key work orders in a timely fashion Be able to put together and/or follow a repair list Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion Order and replace broken parts or equipment Maintain a clean and a safe work space Perform other duties, as assigned Utilize your troubleshooting skills to respond to a wide variety of residential service requests in a timely and professional manner It's important that you are detailed, organized, and have technical skills to take pictures, use an app for keeping track of hours, and making sure everything is completed. Prepare apartment homes for rent by supervising the turn process Estimate the time and extent of repairs and negotiate pricing with vendors Perform routine preventative maintenance Maintain supplies Ensure that any unresolved maintenance issues or concerns are reported to the Property Manager Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and on-call hours Knowledge in all plumbing (toilets, faucets, and piping repairs Able to stay within the budget and monitor expenses thoroughly Ensure quality of work of outside vendors
