Looking for a shelter that will take a young stray cat

We have an orange tabby cat that is a stray hanging around outside our home. It is a young female. It is a very nice, kind cat. We think it may be used to being in a home because it has little fear of humans and wants to come inside the house. We have been letting it stay in the garage but cannot let it indoors because, unfortunately, our cat is not good with other cats. We have not been able to find a local shelter that will take the cat in. Are there any shelters that people know are taking in stray cats? We have a carrier and probably can get it to a shelter. Eastside of Indianapolis is best but can go further if needed. Thank you. Have a great day.
