Josephine Caring Community is interested in partnering with volunteers who have interviewing and writing skills to create short published books for our residents based on their life stories and wisdom. Many of our residents are experiencing memory loss and our intention is to capture their memories to assure them that their life, purpose, and legacy are being remembered and honored. If you are a curious conversationalist and patient listener who is willing to honor the resident's voice in writing a 10-20 page narrative, please contact us. Visits can be scheduled in-person or remotely anticipating that 3-6 visits (or appx. 30-45 minutes in length) will be necessary. Typically, our residents are available for interviews between 9am-6:30pm and the visits need to be scheduled in advance. We ask that the interviews and biography for each resident be completed within a 4-month timeframe.
