Bring a friend, a blanket, a frisbee, or a guitar and come to hang out and meet some of the community members of The Lonely Project! (You don't actually need to bring anything but yourself and some of your ideas for what The Lonely Project should become!) The Lonely Project is on a mission to provide a safe space and community where people can form real friendships and have intentional gatherings and events that foster feelings of connection and aliveness. In the face of so many young people battling anxiety and depression at a rate higher than ever, we recognize that when people feel connected to others in their community these numbers go down. Loneliness is a gateway to feeling anxious and depressed, so we are here to interrupt the paradigm. We are busy planning events for the coming months that bring people together so that as a collective we can spend more time together and less time lonely. We would love to get feedback from our community and help YOU shape what The Lonely Project will become. So, come out to our first gathering at the details below and be a part of The Lonely Project-this is a FREE event. You can find us in the greenspace overlooking the river and we'll have a sign that says "The Lonely Project."
