FOUND - 2 young cats - orange male and tabby female

These two cats showed up on my front porch the other day, looking skinny & scared and crying at me for attention. It’s been cold out and people don’t always drive slowly by my house so I brought them inside to keep safe while I look for their owner. Creamsicle orange male, unneutered, no collar, and orangey tabby girl, collar but no ID tag; both very sweet and friendly. Took them to the vet, no microchips to be found. Vet said they both looked underweight but likely are around 4-6 months old. They showed up together and wouldn’t leave each other’s side so I’m guessing they both came from the same place. Figured it would be somewhere in my neighborhood but so far none of my postings have gotten any responses, so maybe they traveled a lot further from home than I thought. Are these your cats? Did your solitary teenage kitty decide to risk it all and run away for love, or maybe she got lost and made a friend on the streets?
