Join Columbus Gives Back and Festa for one of their community potlucks for their ESL Community! What: Columbus Gives Back invites you to join us at Festa's ESL potluck to volunteer running activity stations for the community attendees! If you would like to be on the potluck volunteer team, please fill out this form. When: Thursday, February 17, 5:45 PM - 8:00 PM. Event Leaders: [email protected] Where: Upper Arlington Lutheran Church at Mill Run ; 3500 Mill Run Dr. Hilliard, OH 43026 COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Masks are no longer required for outdoor events but please bring one to the event in case our nonprofit partners require them. Masks and social distancing are still required for all indoor events. Additionally, if you were exposed before or test positive after having participated in a CGB event, please contact the event leader or reach out to [email protected] so that we can best support contact tracing efforts. About Festa: Festa is the catalyst bringing the community together to be a place where: No child experiences the hopelessness of hunger.Families working their way out of poverty are connected to resources that will meet their basic needs, so hope is restored, families are stabilized and community is built.Local neighbors and churches partner to demonstrate the gospel through their service and by building relationships with people in need.Want to get more involved? Do you have any special talents they would like to share with our children? Maybe you are in a band, sings, do yoyo tricks, are an artist that would paint with the kids, a sports coach that would want to bring a team or teach their skill….. it can really be anything! About Columbus Gives Back: Columbus Gives Back coordinates group volunteer events with local non-profits, organizes philanthropic happy hours to raise support and awareness for our non-profit partners, and participates in other philanthropic events while emphasizing our social twist: to have fun with volunteers new and old during and after events in the hopes of creating a culture of community engagement amongst our target audience of young professionals. #SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local! As of May 1st, outdoor/patio social twists will be coordinated at the discretion of event leaders and volunteers.
