Smaller door allows a small dog or cat to pass through while keeping a larger dog behind the gate. I used it so my rabbits could get back to their room if they were out and about. I adoped a mini lop and she is small enough to fit through the bars while the door is closed so I bought another with openings that are narrow. Works and includes all hardware and a section to make the width wider.
