Join us for That’s My Face - Black Love Vol II... screening of the original Coming to America. Featuring a Coming to America-inspired costume contest, trivia, and chocolates. Come “let your soul glow” in costume and have your favorite lines from the film ready! This event is for adults 18 and up. Please RSVP. This event will take place in the Boyd Vance Theater at 50% seating capacity. Masks encouraged. Through the preservation and exhibition of African American material culture, history, and aesthetic expression, the Carver Museum works to create a space where the global contributions of all Black people are celebrated. We accomplish this by telling stories about our local community and connecting those histories to larger narratives about Blackness.
