The Church is the very way that Jesus wants us to enter into and live His life. The Church is she who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Only through her can our relationship with Jesus be what he desires it to be. It is for the Church, his Bride, that he gave himself up. He did this in order to make her spotless and holy as he is. In this session, we will explore this theme of Jesus as Bridegroom and the Church as his Bride and investigate how this is prefigured in God’s relationship with Israel.
