Press release from the Suffolk County Government: January 20, 2022 Suffolk County reported the following information related to COVID-19 on January 20, 2022. Last updated January 19, 2022 COVID-19 Vaccine Information 1,186,004 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 1,454. 1,064,769 people is fully vaccinated, an increase of 1,290. 80.1% of the total population of 1,481,093 has received at least one dose. 92.6% of the population ages 18 and older has received at least one dose. 71.8% percent of the total population is fully vaccinated. 84.3% of the population ages 18 and older is fully vaccinated. 76.6% of the population ages 5 and older is fully vaccinated. 38.3% of fully vaccinated population have had a booster dose. Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering COVID vaccines to Suffolk County residents who are age 5 and older as well as booster doses to all who are eligible. Appointments are recommended.
