Description

GLEN BURNIE, MD — Police announced Friday that they arrested a Glen Burnie man on child pornography charges. Officers identified the arrestee as 47-year-old Frank Marvin Rosen Jr. Authorities said they launched the investigation on May 12, 2021 after getting a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The nonprofit told police that an online account was directly associated with uploading child pornographic images to a website. Officers eventually pinpointed the suspect and his home address. Authorities on June 8, 2021 executed a search warrant on Rosen's home, located in the 1000 block of Big Baer Drive, and took multiple digital devices to analyze for evidence. Investigators said they found about 30 images or videos of child sexual abuse material. Police applied for charges Wednesday. The Anne Arundel County Court Commissioner's Office then issued an arrest warrant. Officers said they arrested Rosen without incident the same day and charged him with 10 counts of possessing child pornography and 10 counts of distributing it. The investigation is still ongoing. The Anne Arundel County Police Department asked anybody with details to call 410-222-4733. Informants can stay anonymous by dialing the tip line at 410-222-4700 or contacting Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland at 866-7LOCKUP (866-756-2587). Have a story idea?
