Press release from Arlington Public Schools: 2022-01-21 The MCSS was established by the government of Liberia with the assistance of the United States Agency for International Development, USAID, in 1964 under the Act to Amend the Education Law to create the Monrovia Consolidated School System. Zawalo will be the 17th Superintendent of the MCSS and join the elite class of distinguished educators who once held the position. People in Liberia see his appointment as a measure of the President's commitment to improving education in Liberia. Zawalo will be leaving ACC at the end of January.
