Aurora Man Charged With Drug-Induced Homicide
Kendall County, IL (January 21, 2022, 3:00 PM)
On July 27, 2021, Kendall County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 20 Block of Greenfield Road, Montgomery, Unincorporated Kendall County, for a report of a female who was not responsive. The female, identified as 24-year-old Taylor Neill, was declared deceased.
Kendall County Sheriff's Detectives began an investigation into the death, and on January 18, 2022, the Kendall County State's Attorney's Office charged Marcos Salas, a 34-year-old man from the 400 Block of N Union Street, Aurora, with 1 count of drug-induced homicide, a Class X felony.
Salas is presently incarcerated at the Kane County Corrections center on an unrelated matter and remains in custody.
**The public is reminded that criminal defendants are presumed innocent until the government is able to prove its charges in court beyond a reasonable doubt.**
