Press release from Kendall County Sheriff's Office: 01/21/2022 5:00 AM 01/20/22 2022-0209, Obstructing a Peace Officer: On 01/20/22 at 9:22 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Woodridge Rd. and Roulock Rd. in Oswego Township.  During the course of the stop, the driver exited the vehicle and fled from the scene.  This incident is under investigation. 2022-0209, Obstructing a Peace Officer: 2022-0211, Driving While License Suspended: On 01/20/22 at 11:30 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Saugatuck Rd. near Douglas Rd. in Oswego Township for a speeding violation. The driver of the vehicle, Shane Degand, an 18-year-old male from the 800 block of Georgetown Dr. in Oswego, was cited for speeding and driving while license suspended. Degand was issued a recognizance bond and released. 2022-0213, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol: On 01/21/22 at 3:03 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Forest Ave. near IL Route 71 in Oswego Township for a speeding violation. The driver of the vehicle, Brandon Schwinn, a 20-year-old male from the 1900 block of Edinburgh Ln. in Aurora, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. Schwinn was transported to the Kendall County Jail for processing.   The Sheriff's Office would like to remind the public that all persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
