CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams as well as New Hampshire State Police were sent to a rollover on I-93 north in Concord on Friday.
The crash was reported between Exit 13 and Exit 14 just before 6:30 p.m.
Fire command reported at least one vehicle involved just north of the Exit 13 onramp. As firefighters got closer to the crash, he confirmed it was a single-vehicle crash in the high-speed lane.
"The vehicle is on its roof," the battalion commander stated. "State troopers are on the scene."
While investigating the I-93 crash, other firefighters reported to capital region dispatch that a pedestrian had been struck on Fisherville Road at around 6:30 p.m.
The pedestrian was walking between the McDonald's Restaurant and Constantly Pizza before being hit by a vehicle.
The person was taken to Concord Hospital.
At around 6:45 p.m., EMTs on I-93 cleared the crash scene, stating the driver refused transportation.
The vehicle was towed later.
