FREMONT, CA — The City of Fremont will hold its fourth community meeting on Wednesday to discuss the Centerville Complete Streets project.
The project has implemented a six-month road diet pilot project along Fremont Boulevard, from Thornton Avenue to Parish Avenue in the Centerville Business District. It also implemented a pilot three-lane reduction, pop-up outdoor dining patios, additional on-street parking, and enhanced bike facilities.
The planning process for the Centerville Complete Streets project is concluding, and the City plans to present preferred design alternatives to the public at the Wednesday meeting before the permanent design plan is presented to the Fremont City Council on Feb. 8.
The meeting will take place on Zoom from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, and can be accessed by desktop, tablet or phone. Click here to register.
