Press release from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office: David Agee January 22, 2022 On Friday January 21, 2022 at approximately 5:05pm two men entered the drug store in the 5900 of Gary Avenue in Fairfield working together to rob the store.  The offenders were armed with pistols and demanded cash from the store clerk.  During the offense a store employee shot at the offenders and one of the offenders shot at the employee.  The offenders were picked up by a third offender driving a black Nissan sedan.  No one was injured during the offense.  Deputies are searching for the offenders.
