Bass Player & Engineer - New to Area...

Hello, I am 45 year old bass player and recording engineer looking to "semi-retire" and thought I should put out some feelers as I have no idea where I will be ending up exactly but I intend to just slow down in my life and enjoy the 2nd half of my life away from where I've been living (Florida, Tennessee, Illinois, & New York)... I have been playing for over 35 years and recording for nearly as long. I am not really into doing a "band" for money but I would like to meet other musicians and I am open to new experiences. My playing experience is mostly in the "Prog-Rock" and Jazz. I can read but I'd rather not do that in this "chapter" of my playing. I am planning to move there in early-mid spring and would appreciate any input or direction anyone can offer. I have a studio in Port Orange, FL and I hope to sell it and/or liquidate most of my gear but I will likely have quite a bit of my things available to bring or just start over... Thanks again Joe
