Description

Any Meat Loafs Looking for their Jim Steinman? Well, Meat Loaf passed away and that sucks. It matches Jim Steinman passing away last year. What I want is a vocalist. Doesn't have to be a white, obese man. But any of those things are fine. As Meat Loaf showed pretty well, your voice is really all that matters. Pair it with the right songs and who knows what could happen. I have about 50 original songs. These are a survey of some of them. Ideally, I'd want to be the Jim Steinman in a project: writing the songs, then playing guitar and keys, and singing backup. (I'm primarily a guitar player. I'm not that great of a keyboard player.) I'd like to record and then play some duo gigs. We can sequence anything we need to sequence. It opens up the possibility of playing smaller venues. Eventually, if things pick up, we could add members to fill out a band. you can be any age, size, shape, color, religion, gender and/or level of experience. All you need to bring is a desire to put in the work and a set of pipes that are a direct gift from God. If you think these songs are okay, but could use a better singer, I agree with you. Please send me something that shows you singing. Even just you into your iPhone. I'm not sure how much time I'll have to travel for rehearsal. Travel for shows isn't a problem. But I have a small studio in my house and an indoor rehearsal space. I also have gear. Really the only thing I don't have is drums, but I'm not sure we'll have a drummer to start. We can sequence that until we get big enough to need a bigger show. The photo isn't even all the amps I have available for backline in the rehearsal space. Cheers! Keep making music everyone. The beat is ours forever! Some songwriter demos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMcZkEFR8gU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzZwZ1_zXHs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=US0bPQ1gEEQ
