Hey, I'm looking to play with people who have similar musical interests: D'angelo, Robert Glasper, Ezra Collective, Takuya Kuroda, Tom Misch, Kamaal Williams, Yussef Dayes, Butcher Brown, Hiatus Kaiyote, Terrace Martin, and Khruangbin. I don't want to play straight-ahead jazz or bop, but I do want to play modern music that's informed by jazz. Ideally, somewhere at the intersection of jazz, hip-hop, and neo-soul. I have a music studio in SE PDX equipped with a Gretsch drum kit, piano, organ, bass, guitar, and a lot more. Hit me up if you play this type of music!
