Description

I found this cat in the woods near a lake and assumed he was feral, but he is incredibly friendly to people. He has long hair, looks and acts like a Norwegian Forest cat. He was skin and bones and had one milky eye that doesn't open all the way. I'm not a cat person, but this is the coolest cat I have ever met, I couldn't leave him out in the cold to keep starving. Took him to a vet and found he is blind in one eye, but it is healed, he is around 2 years old, castrated, all the tests they ran checked out ok. He had loose stool, so he was given dewormer, antibiotics, and probiotics and I put him on senstive stomach food. When I first took him home, he did not want to go inside the house at all. But after two months he is comfortable inside and is sweeter than ever. He still has his claws that he has refused to use on me, but has left me a few mice. Eventhough he has a loud bell collar, he is still a good hunter. Now he is inside and using the litter box I can tell he still has loose stool, but uses the box evey time, called the vet and they said give it time. The reason I need to re-home the cat is becasue he has become really agressive towards the dog. I have a 9lb Shih Tzu that is missing an eye and has health problems, very docile and not aggressive at all. I have carefully watched every single interaction between them and can say this cat is the antagonist. Started off ok, but now it's almost like being mean to the dog is a game he tries to play when he thinks I'm not looking. Big time deal breaker for me... It's a shame because he is such a sweet and loving boy otherwise. He is free to a good home. Text or call me -Four17-six1nine-sevenfive31
