Description

too many baby fishes; not for food! I had two croaking gouramis, they are nice looking fishes with bright blue green eyes, and for some reason they can make audible noises, wierd. they made a nest and made eggs on around the 15th of last month, i separated them away, then again eight days later, another nest. now they are lots of baby fish swarming around, it is just a small tank 10g in a small apartment and I can not raise them all up in there. sadly, I had to rehome the parents, past experience had me thinking they will eat the fry and I didn't want to run two tanks, it was cute to watch the male dote over the eggs/fry and usher away the female if she came around to look in on them. so I will keep 5 or 6 of these. some are growing faster than others and now getting color and starting to look like fishes. I want to move out some of the smaller ones. if you have a tank for them or want to make one for them, let me know if you want a few; not for food! do research them a bit to be sure they are something you want to take on and will be compatible with whatever you have going on, i find them cool. https://www.seafishpool.com/croaking-gourami/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croaking_gourami
