Equipment Service Technician/Manager-The Lakes Golf and Country Club The Lakes Golf and Country Club, in the Columbus Ohio area, is seeking to hire a golf course equipment service technician/manager. Responsibilities include: • Maintain, inspect, diagnose, and repair all issues pertaining to all golf course equipment • Maintain a preventative maintenance program of all equipment and purchase repair parts and supplies • Keep detailed repair and preventative maintenance records for all equipment • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop area • Instruct and/or train golf course maintenance workers regarding preventative maintenance, proper cleaning of, and safe operation of equipment • Communicate with Superintendent concerning needs and/or problems with the upkeep and use of golf course equipment Preferred Qualifications: • Prior golf course equipment maintenance experience • Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine repairs and preventative maintenance • Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems • Reel grinding and set up experience • Welding and fabrication skills • High School Diploma or equivalent • Valid Driver’s License Projected work schedule: • Normal working hours are Monday – Friday from 6am – 2:30pm • May be required to work occasional holidays, weekends, and overtime, as dictated by need Compensation: • Competitive salary commensurate with experience • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance • Paid vacation • 401K • Uniform provided • Lunch provided • Golf privileges on course closed days Job Application Instructions: Please send resume and cover letter to Chris Haunty via email to: [email protected]
